We are committed to helping you and your organization grow and succeed. As well, we are uniquely positioned to help as we are Nunavut entrepreneurs and leaders ourselves. We know by experience what it takes to meet the challenges and opportunities in the Nunavut business environment. Relationships drive our business. Our greatest assets are our people, our clients and our communities. Our team builds strong relationships with you, our client, to help maximize value by tailoring our services to your business needs. You will work directly with our senior management team as we focus on exceeding your expectations. We have expanded to the point that we now have at least one client in every community in Nunavut. We are growing to serve Nunavut better. In many cases, we are your firm next door and can meet with you face-to-face at a moment’s notice.
2023 Tax Season for 2022 Tax Returns will be different this year.
We gear up and bring in extra staff for the annual tax return deadline of April 30. After this date we refocus on performing audit and review engagement services and have a very limited tax staff on hand. To help provide better service we want to emphasize the importance of bringing in your information during March and April. Therefore, this year we will accept return information to be processed up to May 31 and complete those where the information is received by that date. Starting June 1 we will not be accepting new information until January 2024.
We are endeavouring to reinforce the importance of the April 30 deadline but also give a small grace period of May. As well, the frustration of waiting for a long time in the summer and fall months will not happen. We hope that the change will be seen positively in the long run.
